The free visitor account on Dustfolio lets you save favorite portfolios in a memoBook, share or export them as PDFs, and manage your communications with creatives.
Who is it for?
\nIf you're looking for creatives without needing to publish your own portfolio—whether you're an art director, publisher, agency, recruiter, or client—the visitor account is designed for you.
\nIt's free, with no plans or time limits. All you need is an email address and a password.
\n\nHow to set up your account

- On the portal, click the heart icon on a portfolio: Dustfolio will prompt you to create your account. \n
- Enter your email address and a password: you'll be logged in immediately. \n
- Portfolios previously saved in your browser will be added to your account. \n
- A confirmation email is sent right away; you can request it again from the dashboard. \n

\nOnce logged in, you'll find your memoBooks, your recent messages with creatives, and your recent visits, so you can easily revisit a portfolio you viewed yesterday.
\n\nWhat is the memoBook?

- Save: Clicking the heart on a portfolio adds it to your memoBook; clicking again removes it. \n
- Search within your selection by name. \n
- Share: Public sharing generates a read-only link, perfect for sending to a client or your team. \n
- Export as PDF: The selection is formatted, optionally with a QR code that opens each portfolio on a phone. \n
The memoBook is linked to your account, allowing you to access it across different devices.

- Reach out to a creative from their portfolio or directly from your memoBook. \n
- My Messages consolidates conversations by creative and alerts you to unread messages. \n
- You can reply within the conversation; an AI correction feature can review your text before sending. \n
Your account settings
\n- \n
- First and Last Name: These appear on your messages and shared memoBook. \n
- Email Address (confirmed via link) and password can be changed anytime. \n
- Newsletter subscriptions: Subscribe or unsubscribe with a click. \n
- Account deletion is available whenever you choose: memoBook, visits, and public shares are erased. Messages already sent remain with their recipients. \n
Frequently Asked Questions
\nWill the visitor account become paid?
No. Paid plans are only for creatives who publish a portfolio.
\nIf I already publish a portfolio, do I need a visitor account?
No. Your creative account already includes the memoBook and messaging features.
